Tom is clinical prosthetist with over 20 years of experience. He has been a above-knee amputee since childhood as a result traumatic farm accident. His clinical and personal experience offer a wealth resources for amputee patients.
He has served as an Examiner for the America Board of Certification for over 15 years and is dedicated to the professional credentialing process.
His clinical and financial background afford unique insight to the industry.
In 1975, I was involved in a serious accident on the family farm. After months in the hospital and a dozen surgeries, I ended up with an above-knee amputation. I have been an amputee virtually all of my life. I’ve worn basic prostheses and very advanced prostheses. As a patient, I worked with many prosthetists over the years, some good, some not so good.
