Michael E. April, MD received a B.E.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He received his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia, and served his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University Rusk Institute.
Dr. April is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has been practicing in his native Rockville since 1989. Dr. April has served as Team Physician for several local high schools and served as the medical director for high school wrestling in Montgomery County for 20 years.

He has also served as a team physician for TEAM USA at the World Maccabiah Games and the Pan-Am Maccabi Games and was a member of the silver medal USA Men's Open Fastpitch Team at the '09 World Maccabiah Games.
