Dr. Christina Saldivar

Dr. Christina Saldivar is a board-certified Neurology specialist. Her highly specialized experience working with a wide range of diseases and disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system uniquely qualify her to assess and identify current and future needs of care for individuals with ongoing post-traumatic neurological issues.

She has years of experience treating traumatic brain injuries in the acute hospital setting as well as in the outpatient clinical setting. She has experience consulting trauma neurosurgeons in the co-management of brain traumas, such as, skull fractures, diffuse axonal injuries, traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic epidural bleeding, and others.

Dr. Saldivar received both her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and her Doctorate Degree in Medicine from Brown University in Providence, R.I. She did her professional training as an Intern in Internal Medicine at Boston’s Carnitas Carney Hospital, followed by a Neurology Residency at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Saldivar subsequently took a fellowship in Adult Neuromuscular Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Following that, she chose to stay in Texas to practice as a Neurohospitalist and General Neurology Clinician in Austin.
